Junior QA Inženýr at Veeam Software

Veeam, the #1 global market leader in data protection and ransomware recovery, is seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join their team in Prague. This role involves delving into Veeam products and technologies, analyzing product requirements, and testing one or more Veeam products. The Junior QA Engineer will communicate with other participants in the product development process and evaluate test results, maintaining a database of defects.

Responsibilities include:

• Diving into Veeam products and technologies
• Analyzing product requirements
• Testing one or more Veeam products
• Communicating with other participants in the product development process
• Evaluating test results and maintaining a defect database

Requirements:

• Technical education or a passion for technology
• Enthusiasm to start first IT job or experience as a test engineer, software developer, or system administrator
• Drive to develop professionally in software testing
• Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of network technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network settings, etc.)
• Curiosity, attentiveness, and an eye for detail
• Common sense
• Ability to learn quickly (interest and enthusiasm are more important than experience)
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
