Performance QA Engineer

Job Description

Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a Performance QA Engineer to join their team in Lisbon. This role involves working with Veeam QA professionals to ensure the performance and scalability of Veeam products.

The Performance QA Engineer will be responsible for conducting performance and load testing, analyzing test results, identifying performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, experience in performance testing, and a passion for technology.

Role Involves:

• Carrying out performance/load testing of Veeam products
• Analyzing and discussing requirements
• Deploying labs
• Planning and running tests
• Analyzing test results
• Identifying performance problems and bottlenecks
• Managing lab equipment

Requirements:

• A technical education OR a passion for technology
• 1-2 years of experience in performance/load testing
• Ability to analyze test results and identify performance issues
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Unix OS
• Good understanding of OS applications and limiting subsystem components
• Desire to develop in the field of testing system performance and scalability
• Knowledge of written and spoken English
• A lively and flexible mind, clear logic and detail-oriented approach
