Veeam is seeking a R&D Developer Intern to join their Kasten team in Prague, Czechia. This 3-month paid internship offers an intensive course in cloud-native backup and disaster recovery. The intern will gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, with the potential for a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test features related to the Veeam Kasten product.
  • Prepare design documents and conduct design reviews.
  • Create test plans for testing features and present them to the team.
  • Design and develop CI/CD pipelines for testing features.

Requirements:

  • Interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality systems.
  • Interest in distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency).
  • Passion for code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
  • Impact and result-driven with a bias toward execution.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university program in Computer Science or a related field.
