Machine Learning Engineer - AI Foundation

Job Description

XPENG, a leading smart technology company, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its AI Foundation team in Santa Clara, CA. This role involves establishing a state-of-the-art ML infrastructure for training large foundation models and accelerating model training/inference. The engineer will collaborate with talented software engineers, machine learning engineers, and research scientists to advance autonomous driving technology.Role Involves:

• Designing, training, and deploying large deep learning models.
• Leveraging vast amounts of labeled and unlabeled data from a fleet of vehicles.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• Good knowledge of PyTorch.
• Knowledge of model training frameworks (e.g., PyTorch Lightning).
• Knowledge of transformer architecture and methods to accelerate training and inference.
• Experience using PyTorch DDP for distributed model training.
