XPENG, an innovative smart technology company, is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer - AI Foundation to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI and autonomous driving technologies. This role involves establishing a state-of-the-art ML infrastructure for training large foundation models and accelerating model training/inference.

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work with talented engineers and scientists to advance machine learning models for autonomous driving. The engineer will design, train, and deploy large deep learning models.

Responsibilities:

• Design, train, and deploy large deep learning models that can leverage the vast amount of labeled and unlabeled data.

Requirements:

• Master in CS/CE/EE, or equivalent, with 1-3 years of industry experience.
• Good knowledge of PyTorch.
• Knowledge of model training framework (e.g. PyTorch Lightning)
• Knowledge of transformer architecture and ways to accelerate the training and inference of transformer models.
• Experience of using pytorch ddp for distributed training of models.
