Senior Machine Learning Performance Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Machine Learning Performance Engineer will join XPENG, a smart technology company focused on AI and autonomous driving technologies. The engineer will collaborate with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and research scientists, contributing to the next-generation E2E solution for autonomous driving.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize onboard software systems for deploying large deep learning models.
• Focus on performance, power efficiency, and latency in production vehicles.

Requirements:

• Master or PhD in CS/CE/EE, or equivalent, with 0-3 years of industry experience.
• Strong expertise in C++ and Python.
• In-depth understanding of computer architecture and high-performance computing.
• Experience in application performance analysis and optimization.
• Experience with CUDA kernels and Nvidia TensorRT (Preferred).
• Previous experience in autonomous driving or robotics (Preferred).
• Ability to solve complex problems collaboratively (Preferred).
