XPENG Robotics Center is seeking a Dexterous Hand Design Engineer for its Shenzhen location. The engineer will lead the design and development of high-DOF robotic hands for humanoid robots, focusing on intricate mechanical systems and sensor integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create multi-DOF robotic hand structures for flexible grasping.
  • Develop and optimize motion control algorithms.
  • Integrate force feedback and tactile sensors.
  • Collaborate with control algorithms, embedded systems, and AI teams.
  • Utilize simulation and prototyping for design validation.
  • Apply lightweight and durable materials for robotic hand components.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in designing multi-DOF mechanical systems.
  • Expertise in CAD, motion simulation, and FEA tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanics, control systems, and sensor technologies.
  • Excellent cross-functional teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with humanoid robotics or high-precision multi-DOF system development.
  • Familiarity with tactile feedback systems and complex mechanical system integration.
