XPENG is seeking a Motion Control Software Engineer/Architect to develop and optimize motion control algorithms for humanoid robots. The ideal candidate will contribute to the robot’s performance in dynamic environments and drive the flexibility and precision in executing complex tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced motion control algorithms.
  • Integrate various sensors and develop corresponding algorithms.
  • Optimize control strategies for autonomous adaptation.
  • Test and validate algorithms in simulation environments.
  • Analyze performance data and employ machine learning techniques.
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers and systems engineers.
  • Apply emerging technologies to motion control.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of algorithm development experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
  • Understanding of humanoid robot motion control principles.
  • Familiarity with ROS and Gazebo.
  • Strong mathematical modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical project experience in humanoid robotics.
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning in robotic motion control.
