Job Description
XPENG, a smart technology company specializing in AI and autonomous driving, is seeking a Junior Test Engineer for ADAS Systems in Munich. The role involves executing test cases, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to debug issues. The candidate will also support EU-NCAP testing and conduct real vehicle tests with validation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing results.
- Collaborating with development teams to debug issues.
- Ensuring system testing strategies align with business goals and customer needs.
- Supporting EU-NCAP (pre-) testing.
- Conducting real vehicle tests of Drivers Assistance Systems.
- Supporting and executing proofing-ground tests.
- Supporting development work at tier-1 level.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering OR Controls Engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of vehicle dynamics and steering control functions.
- Hands on mechanical ability / Understanding of vehicle systems.
- Analytical skills to prepare prototype vehicles for testing.
- Some travel domestically and internationally.
- Valid driver’s license required to operate vehicles on proving grounds.
- Experience with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is a plus.
- Driving license class B
