Pharmbills is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Bogota. This hybrid role involves managing client accounts, tracking payments and billing, and ensuring compliance. The Accountant will play a crucial role in helping healthcare providers maintain financial stability by accurately managing their accounts and financial records.Pharmbills is looking for someone who is ready to help healthcare providers stay financially secure, so they can stay focused on providing care for people.Responsibilities:

• Managing client accounts by cooperating with insurance companies and updating patient records.
• Tracking payments & billing, processing, monitoring, and verifying financial transactions.
• Performing data entry & policy verification, ensuring all insurance and financial records are up to date.
• Generating monthly financial summaries and client-requested reports.
• Ensuring confidentiality and following security guidelines.
• Providing problem-solving & support by assisting in resolving account issues and internal system tickets.

Requirements:

• Experience in accounting, preferably in healthcare or insurance.
• Proficiency in accounting software & Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of financial reports, including P&L.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 or higher).
• A proactive approach & ability to operate independently.
