Pharmbills is seeking a meticulous Billing Specialist to support U.S. healthcare companies from Portugal. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of invoices, payments, and account tracking.

The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of healthcare providers, contributing to a team of over 1,000 members across 7 countries.

What the role involves:

• Reviewing and issuing invoices for healthcare services, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Tracking and resolving billing discrepancies, cooperating closely with clients and internal teams.
• Keeping detailed financial records, including payments and client communications.
• Following up on outstanding payments to ensure healthcare providers receive what they’re owed.
• Cooperating with U.S.-based teams and healthcare providers to streamline billing processes.
• Generating reports on billing status and accounts receivable for management.

Requirements:

• A sharp eye for detail.
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ level).
• Experience with billing, finance, or accounting processes.
• A problem-solving mindset.
