Help Desk Tech Support at Pharmbills

The role involves maintaining the client's IT infrastructure, monitoring systems, and resolving technical issues.Pharmbills values global collaboration and provides opportunities for professional growth. • Monitor and maintain IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Implement and manage system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure smooth operation of technology solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support as needed.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a System Operations Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in network administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
