This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical systems to meet business requirements. This position is based in Ukraine, where Pharmbills has been operating for over 8 years. The Help Desk Tech Support role involves:
- Monitoring and maintaining IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Performing regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implementing and managing system security measures.
- Maintaining documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborating with other IT teams and departments.
- Participating in on-call rotations for after-hours support.
- Analyzing system performance and recommending improvements.
- Assisting in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Staying current with new technologies and industry best practices.
The requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Operations Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in network administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
