Manager, Tokyo at BSR

BSR, a sustainable business network and consultancy, is seeking a Manager for their Tokyo office. This role involves collaborating across BSR’s industry and practice teams on various projects, ensuring exceptional project execution, and maintaining high-quality engagement with BSR member companies and partners.Responsibilities include:

• Implementing consulting and grant-funded projects, overseeing scope, timeline, deliverable quality, and budget.
• Managing clients and project teams.
• Providing subject matter expertise and conducting primary research.
• Maintaining day-to-day client relationships and supporting member recruitment and business development.
• Leading project teams to effectively execute project objectives and supporting team members’ learning and skills development.

BSR requires:

• Master’s degree in business, sustainability, or CSR and 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Fluency in Japanese and English.
• Proven track record of success in a client/customer-facing position.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• High ethical standards and commitment to BSR core values.
