Senior Concept Artist at Anchor Point

Anchor Point Studios, under NetEase Games, is seeking a Senior Concept Artist to contribute to a new, innovative 3D action title. The Senior Concept Artist will visualize and communicate the artistic direction of characters, playing a crucial role in shaping the aesthetic of games and creating character groups that captivate players worldwide. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative visionary who can contribute innovative ideas, engage in prototyping, and drive the project from the character conceptual stage to implementation.

Role Involves:

• Creating high-quality concept art for characters, weapons, costumes, environment props, and gadgets.
• Collaborating with the Art Director, Game Designers, and Narrative department.
• Establishing and upholding visual guidelines and standards.
• Aiding the Art Director and maintaining constructive feedback loops.
• Developing a deep understanding of the game's lore and mechanics.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, Game Design, or a related field.
• Experience working on AAA titles.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Concept Artist role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in concept art.
• Exceptional line art skills.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Capability for self-directed work.
• Ability to work well on a highly collaborative team.
