JR Data Analyst (Business Planning) at Example Corp

MadeiraMadeira is seeking a JR Data Analyst to join their Commercial Planning team in Sao Paolo, Brazil. This role involves translating data into actionable insights to support decision-making across sales, channels, and categories. The JR Data Analyst will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards, as well as integrating external data to identify market opportunities. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills due to cross-functional collaboration. The role is important with process modeling. Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and specifying business problems that can be addressed with data.
• Creating data visualizations and making data accessible for informed decision-making.
• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing dashboards and data analysis processes.
• Building datasets.
• Supporting the creation and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Integrating and processing data from diverse sources to generate business insights.
• Serving as a liaison between business and technology areas.
• Understanding and monitoring business processes to aid technical teams in solution delivery.

Requirements include:

• Practical SQL experience (2+ years).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (Looker preferred).
• Basic knowledge of data storage patterns and modeling.
• Knowledge and experience in ETL/ELT processes.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and Python.
• Completed higher education in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills.
