Job Description

PwC is seeking a Cloud Software Development Co-op Intern to join their Cloud Computing and Networking practice. The intern will assist in transforming clients' businesses through innovative technology solutions and effective IT Service Management. The internship offers exposure to various projects, groups, and locations, encouraging individual and team growth.

Role Involves:

• Assisting with the design and development of software applications.
• Collaborating with architects and product owners to break down work into smaller components.
• Aiding in the estimation and planning of software delivery.
• Helping architects research and validate design concepts.
• Enabling cloud services in development environments.
• Performing coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Participating in code reviews by providing and receiving feedback.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
• Minimum Years of Experience: 0 year(s)
• Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3.
• Preferred major GPA: 3.3.
• Certification from a leading cloud or service management provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Some experience with Scripting languages & web-based development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Reactnative, Angular).
• Some experience with Object-oriented programming languages (Java, C#).
• Some experience with Relational Databases (Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL, NoSQL), Data Modeling.
• Basic architectural patterns.
• Mapreduce understanding or related cloud native offerings (Spark,Hadoop,Kafka).
• Software development life-cycle.
• Agile.
• AWS or Azure cloud-native development.
• Infrastructure as code.
• Continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Microservice design patterns & coding techniques.
