Job Description

Anton Paar is seeking an experienced and passionate Software Developer to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing and implementing software components for modern laboratory instruments, creating high-quality and maintainable code within an agile environment.

This role involves developing desktop software solutions for modern laboratory devices using technologies such as C#, WPF, Angular, Git, and REST. The individual will work with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Polarion and participate in the entire feature lifecycle, from design to release, within an interdisciplinary team.

Senior Software Developers will also focus on software architecture, ensuring software quality through reviews, and mentoring junior developers. They will be responsible for evaluating and implementing new technologies.

Role Involves:

• Designing and implementing software components for modern laboratory instruments.
• Developing desktop software solutions using C#, WPF, Angular, Git, and REST.
• Collaborating using Jira, Confluence, and Polarion.
• Participating in the entire feature lifecycle, from design to release.
• Working in an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Technical education in IT.
• >10 years of experience with object-oriented programming languages and frameworks (ideally C#/.net).
• Ability to work independently and share knowledge within a team.
• Commitment to high software quality, readability, extensibility, maintainability, and testability.
