Honda is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join Honda Research Institute. The researcher will be involved in the research and development of intelligent robots, focusing on autonomous manipulation and remote control technologies.

Honda has been committed to robotics research, including ASIMO, to expand human potential and enrich lives. The role involves working on Honda Avatar Robot, which virtually expands self-capabilities, and riding-type robots like UNI-CUB.

Role Involves:

• Research and development of algorithms for autonomous manipulation and remote control using robot arms and hands.
• Development for machine learning algorithms.
• Development of algorithms for robot control.
• Image recognition and sensing technologies.
• Collaboration with domestic and international departments and research institutes.

Requirements:

• Experience in AI-related technology research at a university or similar institution.
• Software development experience (programming).
• Knowledge of robotics and control engineering.
• Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Knowledge of optimization techniques.
