Graduate - Digital Design (UX/UI)

Job Description

bp is offering a graduate role in Digital Design (UX/UI) in London. The role provides an opportunity to work on various projects within digital design teams, developing user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design skills.

The digital design team at bp aims to humanize digital innovation, empowering better experiences, safer operations, and a more sustainable future. The graduate will have access to resources from a large technology department and exposure to design projects across bp's global operations.

The role involves rotating across five design functions:

• Product and service design: Shaping the design aspects of digital products.
• Digital content design: Developing content for bp’s digital solutions.
• UX research: Overseeing and planning research aspects of design and user experience.
• Design engineering: Defining the technology, tools, architecture and engineering for design in bp.
• Design operations: Coordinating design projects and supporting operational delivery.

Requirements:

• Keen to tackle big, meaningful design challenges and passion for helping.
• Enjoy experimenting with emerging design trends and technologies.
• On track for a 2:1 degree, or equivalent, in human computer interaction, design, communications, computer science or an equivalent creative/technical field of study.
• In final year of study or have completed degree.
• Skills in Lean UX or Agile methods like Scrum or Kanban, or experience working in a collaborative, agile environment.
