Job Description
Cultivate is seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join their team in Denver. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a BCBA to provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum. This role involves implementing behavior support plans, collecting data, and utilizing various teaching methods.
Role Involves:
- Providing one-on-one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy
- Collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Conducting Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and various teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan.
- Working collaboratively with a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or College Degree
- Childcare, healthcare, or mental health experience preferred
- Strong technology skills for data collection and entry
- Professional written and oral communication skills in English
- Ability to pass a background screen, reference checks, and drug screen
