Clinical Lab Assistant II--Day Shift

Job Description

Curative is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant II to support their mission of saving lives through COVID-19 test processing. The Clinical Lab Assistant II will work under the supervision of Laboratory Leads or Clinical Laboratory Scientists, utilizing their experience and education in life science or related fields. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of lab activities.Responsibilities:

• Assisting the CLS’ and Lab Technicians on the RNA extraction and PCR teams (as needed).
• Checking inventory and ordering supplies.
• Performing clerical duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum of six months related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clinical laboratory experience required, including but not limited to customer service, specimen processing, and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing and laboratory information systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
