Clinical Lab Assistant II--Day Shift - Weekends

Curative is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant II to assist in processing COVID-19 tests. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations under the supervision of Laboratory Leads or Clinical Laboratory Scientists.Curative requires someone who has passion for helping the company as we work to save lives.Responsibilities:

• Assist CLS’ and Lab Technicians on the RNA extraction and PCR teams (as needed).
• Check inventory and order supplies
• Perform clerical duties
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum of six months related laboratory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clinical laboratory experience required, including but not limited to customer service, specimen processing, and laboratory support in a hospital or reference laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, such as word processing and laboratory information systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.

Role Offers:

• Full time position; 40 hrs per week; weekends may be required.
