Job Description
The County of Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Office Specialist to support the Housing and Community Development (HCD) division of the Office of Supportive Housing (OSH). This role is crucial for maintaining the quality and currency of data within the OSH's loan portfolio database. The Senior Office Specialist will report to a Program Manager II ,entails data collection, entry, report generation, and other administrative and analytical tasks.
  • Ensuring data in the OSH’s loan portfolio database is current and of high quality
  • Collecting data and entering it into databases
  • Running reports from the database as requested
  • Supporting OSH operations with administrative and analytical assignments
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of database software
  • Experience creating database files, modifying large data volumes, and analyzing information
  • Experience providing instruction/training to staff on database operation and access
  • Experience entering data into databases
  • One year of clerical experience with database management
