Job Description

Productive Playhouse is seeking a Bilingual Korean & Japanese Transcriber to work on a project basis. This role involves transcribing audio in an online database for talk-to-text technology research. The transcriber will listen to audio files and accurately type what they hear, with some segment labeling required. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial, as the audio may contain both Korean and Japanese languages. The project is coordinated via Upwork, and candidates must have or be willing to create an Upwork profile.Responsibilities:

• Transcribe assigned audio files following project guidelines.
• Meet project deadlines and make consistent progress.
• Communicate effectively with project managers via email.

Requirements:

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in both Korean & Japanese, including reading and writing.
• Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation in Korean & Japanese.
• Upwork profile or willingness to create one.
• High-speed internet access and access to email.
