This job posting is for a Collections Call Center Representative position. The company is seeking individuals with customer service skills and exceptional phone etiquette to join their collections team. The role involves collecting unpaid/past-due revenue to return customers to good standing. The Collections Call Center Representative will provide respectful and courteous service on every call to create a positive experience for the customer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Verifying account information and updating as needed
  • Documenting each call
  • Meeting and exceeding company collections standards as well as call quality standard scores
  • Complying with FDCPA and state legal requirements
  • Providing appropriate payment options and negotiating according to the language of company loan agreements
  • Obtaining debit or credit card data from customers and saving in the customer record

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of phone-based collections, customer service, or sales experience
  • Call center collections experience, a plus
  • Data-entry experience
  • Successful decision-making and negotiating abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to work in an MS Windows-based environment
