This job posting is for a Collections Call Center Representative position. The company is seeking individuals with customer service skills and exceptional phone etiquette to join their collections team. The role involves collecting unpaid/past-due revenue to return customers to good standing. The Collections Call Center Representative will provide respectful and courteous service on every call to create a positive experience for the customer.
Responsibilities include:
- Verifying account information and updating as needed
- Documenting each call
- Meeting and exceeding company collections standards as well as call quality standard scores
- Complying with FDCPA and state legal requirements
- Providing appropriate payment options and negotiating according to the language of company loan agreements
- Obtaining debit or credit card data from customers and saving in the customer record
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months of phone-based collections, customer service, or sales experience
- Call center collections experience, a plus
- Data-entry experience
- Successful decision-making and negotiating abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work in an MS Windows-based environment
