Verkada, a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, is looking for a Solutions Engineer to enhance the customer experience, from proof-of-concept to final decision. In this role, the individual will provide technical support to the sales team, serve as a trusted advisor to customers, aid in designing security systems and quotes, and create solutions for unique customer challenges. The role is within a team of highly motivated people delivering impactful results for the company.Responsibilities:
- Become the trusted technical advisor for key decision-makers.
- Engage with sales managers to understand deal statuses and next steps.
- Leverage technical knowledge to overcome customer barriers and concerns.
- Influence product direction with a unique understanding of customer needs.
- Collaborate with support to accelerate product improvement.
- Work with Project Managers/Operations team members in the execution of designed security solutions.
- Prepare required project documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong background in IT fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching).
- Outstanding English communication skills.
- Excellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
- Experience working with APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems preferred.
