Stone Tech is seeking a Senior Python Developer to join their team in Rio de Janeiro. Stone Tech was born with the purpose of being a protagonist in the transformation of the payments industry, fighting to offer the best solutions for those who do business in Brazil. The Senior Developer will work with a team of other talented engineers to build and maintain high-quality software.

The role involves:

• Operating on problems with open or poorly defined scope.
• Working mainly with your direct team and with cross-area teams, aiming at collaboration between everyone involved in your project.
• Having autonomy in your daily life and no longer needing to be accompanied to make decisions about solution details.
• Contributing to the technical decisions of the team.
• Being part of the solution creation process.
• Contributing to the technical evolution of junior people.

Requirements:

• Experience with software engineering in Python, or in any other of the main programming languages (C#, Java, Javascript, among others). Having developed and/or maintained an application in one of them
• Guarantee the quality and observability of data pipelines, using monitoring, automated tests, etc.
• Experience with code architecture (ex: clean architecture, hexagonal architecture, etc.);
• Previous experience with Spark, Airflow and Deltalake;
• Experience with cloud, especially Google Cloud and its services;
• Ability to resolve alerts, act on general incidents and propose solutions that solve the problem at the root cause.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of Google BigQuery;
• Deep knowledge in Object Orientation (OOP), with notion of SOLID principles and Clean Code practices;
• Desirable knowledge in Design Patterns;
• Being able to work with infrastructure as code, versioning and organizing the infrastructure pieces used by your team.
