Job Description
Proton is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their Accounts team and contribute to building a better internet where privacy is the default. The Accounts Team owns customer journey capabilities from acquisition and signup to account management and checkout flows and contribute to all Proton's products.About the Role:This role involves working within an iOS team to develop features across Proton's products, emphasizing quality and user experience. The candidate will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams across the company.What this role involves:- Building features in all of Proton's products as part of an iOS team.
- Interacting closely with product and engineers across the company.
- 7+ years of experience in iOS or macOS development, particularly with Swift.
- Passion for mentoring other engineers and helping them grow.
- Passion for user interaction, usability, and providing an excellent user experience.
- Experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects.
- Extensive experience building maintainable and testable code bases.
- Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
- Strong grasp of scalable software architecture and software engineering best practices.
- Intuition for optimal user experience and design.
