Job Description
Proton is seeking a Mail, Spam & Account Security Advisor to join its Technical Customer Support team. Proton is a company which belives that privacy is a fundamental human right. The Advisor will play a crucial role in resolving customer inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the improvement of Proton's products and services.
Role Involves:
- Interacting directly with customers to answer questions about account security, mail delivery, and upcoming new products.
- Resolving customer inquiries and maintaining high levels of customer support and satisfaction.
- Communicating and working with other services to resolve potential mail delivery problems.
- Extensive troubleshooting to detect the cause of issues, collaborating with various departments.
- Monitoring systems in production and taking appropriate actions when needed.
- Fighting spam and abuse by understanding data and creating rules.
- Providing insights and feedback to Software and Machine Learning Engineers.
- Participating in planning, development, and QA processes.
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
- Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Bonus: Experience performing data analysis (electronic communications, anomaly detection, fraud prevention).
