Job Description

Proton is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join its Inbox team and contribute to the development of Proton's core services, Mail and Calendar. • Developing, deploying, and supporting high-quality user experiences within Proton's product portfolio.
• Transforming product specifications into technical requirements and leading the team to successful implementation.
• Enhancing Proton's software development lifecycle, tools, and code structure.
• Writing clear, concise, and testable code to maintain and elevate the quality of the codebase.
• Managing the scoping, planning, and execution of new features, technical initiatives, and greenfield projects.
• Fostering a culture of learning, creativity, and accountability through mentorship and team development.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in professional software development using JavaScript ES6+ or TypeScript.
• Experience with React or similar frameworks, developing performant and reusable components.
• Familiarity with best practices for ensuring code quality, including CI/CD.
• Ability to make architectural decisions and contribute to strategic planning and product direction.
• Experience working in a distributed team.
