Job Description
Proton, founded by scientists from CERN, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their team. The company provides free and open-source technology, including Proton Mail, VPN, Calendar, Drive, and Pass, emphasizing privacy, security, and freedom online. This role is based in Geneva, Barcelona, London or Paris.
The Senior Product Manager will be pivotal in driving product innovation and user engagement for Proton's Mail & Calendar ecosystem. He will collaborate with engineering, growth, data, and design teams to enhance user experiences and expand the value proposition to new user segments.
What this role involves:
- Defining a strategic vision and roadmap for Proton's products.
- Driving product innovation and developing groundbreaking product features.
- Defining and owning success metrics such as active usage, user engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Facilitating collaboration between product, engineering, growth, and marketing teams.
- Leading teams through execution from conception to delivery.
- Conducting market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer feedback.
- Anticipating growth ceilings and defining scaling strategies.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in product management in B2C or B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record in successful product and major feature launches.
- Strategic leader with an analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Strong empathy for the customer and a user-centric mindset.
- A strong innate sense for good UX and a love for design.
- Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
- Ability to be hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to dig into the technical details with engineers.
