Engineering Manager - Growth

Job Description

Proton is seeking a seasoned Frontend Engineering Manager to lead their Growth team. This role is focused on websites and growth engineering, including landing pages, conversion flows, performance, SEO, and experimentation. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in shaping the frontend architecture and engineering culture at Proton.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers, driving clarity, ownership, and high standards.
• Build fast, scalable, and beautiful user interfaces using Typescript with React, Astro and Tailwind.
• Drive adoption of frontend best practices—accessibility, performance, responsiveness, testing, and maintainability.
• Support team members in their career development through coaching, mentorship, and thoughtful feedback.

Requirements

• Seasoned frontend engineer with leadership experience.
• Passionate about building exceptional web experiences.
• Proficient in Typescript with React.
• Experience with Astro and Tailwind.
