Security Analyst at Proton

The Security Analyst will play a crucial role in monitoring and investigating security alerts, supporting incident containment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Proton’s security posture.

What this role involves:

• Monitoring and investigating security alerts, covering Proton’s infrastructure and products
• Supporting escalation and containment of potential security incidents
• Providing feedback on detections, tools, and procedures to continuously improve Proton’s security posture

Requirements:

• Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills
• Basic knowledge of system's security, understanding of common malware and attacker techniques, as well as how to detect them
• Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
• Ability to analyze logs and network traffic and apply logical thinking to solve problems
• Structure and organization skills
• Communication skills
• Curiosity and appetite for learning, in particular about technical matters
