Frontend Engineer (Drive)

Job Description

Proton is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their Drive team. This role involves developing Proton Drive, focusing on customer-centric solutions and seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Product, Design, and Growth teams, utilizing data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop growth-focused features to improve user engagement and adoption.
• Enhance file sharing and collaboration through intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
• Optimize user experiences using A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback.
• Collaborate with backend, product owners, designers, and QA engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of JavaScript methodologies and design patterns.
• Proficiency with TypeScript.
• Experience with React or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (SOLID, Design Patterns, CI/CD).
• Growth mindset with a focus on user experience.
• Experience working in a distributed team.
