Associate Scientist - Assay Development - China

Job Description

Alamar Biosciences is seeking an Associate Scientist - Assay Development to join their R&D team in Hangzhou, China. This role focuses on augmenting the company's novel biomarker detection and quantitation capabilities, contributing to the development of a highly sensitive proteomics platform for early disease detection.

The Associate Scientist will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to multiple projects and playing a key role in a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, optimize, and execute experiments for new biomarker detection.
• Maintain reagent libraries and accurate records of work performed.
• Calculate, graph, and compile data, examining the impacts of variables on assay performance.
• Proactively identify opportunities for product and process improvement.
• Manage and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

Requirements include:

• B.S. degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience running and developing immunoassays, such as ELISA.
• Experience generating, analyzing, and reviewing assay data.
• Knowledge in emerging reagent and immunoassay technologies.
• Data management skills.
• Self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong communication skills for a multidisciplinary team environment.
