Job Description
Brunswick is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead their team in London. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the reception area, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and clients. This role involves managing the front desk, training new team members, managing schedules, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will act as the main point of contact with other departments and suppliers, ensuring smooth internal processes.

Responsibilities include:
  • Training, scheduling, and performance management of the front desk team.
  • Ensuring the reception area runs efficiently and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Answering calls, booking appointments, and coordinating room use.
  • Creating work orders for cleaners and facilities, ensuring rooms are ready.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company and a point of contact between guests and staff.
  • Providing refreshments, clearing rooms, restocking minibars, and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Managing food and drink orders and reconciling deliveries.
  • Ensuring rooms are fully stocked and ready for the day.
  • Keeping track of tasks and ensuring timely completion.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in managing a Front of House team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail and outstanding written and verbal English.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of professionalism and excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with reception/housekeeping practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and booking systems.
  • Flexibility to meet company needs.
  • A-level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in a 4-star+ hotel, spa, or equivalent is preferred.
