Appnovation is seeking a Mobile Developer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms. The Mobile Developer will collaborate with on/offshore teams, write clean code, troubleshoot applications, and integrate third-party APIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers on system development.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and user experience.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile development and React Native.
  • Participate in code reviews and receive constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in mobile development, with a focus on React Native preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Java or Kotlin development.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, SOAP, Web Services, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Swift or Objective-C is a plus.
  • Understanding of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend integration.
  • Familiarity with mobile app design guidelines and best practices for both iOS and Android.
  • Willingness to learn about testing frameworks and automated testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Communication skills in Cantonese and English
