Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

Ketryx is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to building secure and reliable medical software. The engineer will work on both the frontend and backend of the platform, taking ownership of features from design to production. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on healthcare technology.

The position is hybrid, based in Vienna, Austria, with at least three days per week on-site, but remote work within the EU is possible for exceptional candidates.

What this role involves:

• Designing new features in collaboration with engineers, designers, and product teams.
• Owning technical decisions and features from concept to launch.
• Reviewing and collaborating on code to maintain high standards.
• Troubleshooting issues and improving the system using logs, metrics, and error reports.
• Collaborating with the Client Operations team to resolve technical challenges.

Ketryx is looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with strong frontend and backend experience.
• Solid skills in TypeScript and React.
• Experience building scalable web applications and a good understanding of databases (PostgreSQL).
• Comfortable working in English and collaborating across teams.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Prisma and Next.js.
• Experience with GraphQL (urql or Apollo).
• Familiarity with AWS services like S3, RDS, and Elastic Beanstalk.
• Strong habits around testing (Jest, Cucumber, Playwright).
• Experience working in regulated industries like healthcare or finance.
• An interest in mentoring and helping others grow.
