Insify is seeking a Head of Finance to lead its finance functions and support its growth across European markets. The successful candidate will report to the VP Finance and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, developing financial strategies, ensuring financial compliance, and leading a high-performing finance team.

What this role involves:
- Overseeing day-to-day finance functions (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax reporting)
- Leading the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and procedures
- Overseeing accounting and financial reporting functions
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements
- Hiring, leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team
Requirements:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly preferred.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Experience leading finance teams, ideally in a high-growth start-up or scale-up environment.
- Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach, with a passion for innovation and a keen interest in the insurtech or fintech space.
- Fluency in English is required; additional European languages (French) are a plus.
