Business & Marketing Intern - (Global & Malaysia Market)

Job Description

Cake is seeking a Business & Marketing Intern to join their Business Development teams and support the company's growth in Malaysia and expansion into international markets. The intern will play a key role in bringing Cake's client's brand story to life, attracting top talent in the Malaysian market.

The intern will work directly with the Business Development team to execute the local content strategy, positioning hiring partners as employers of choice.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting strategy, business operation, and employer brand promotion activities in key markets, including Malaysia.
• Localizing global content for the regional market, adapting campaigns and content for different segments.
• Understanding local hiring/recruiting trends to provide insights.
• Creating and curating content on social media platforms, career sites, and other touch-points.
• Supporting the promotion of hiring activities such as career fairs and internship programs.
• Establishing relationships with Hiring Partners to support their talent attraction goals.

Requirements:

• Experience with creative platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud) and social media platforms.
• Supporting local content creation (e.g. employee-generated videos, testimonials, visuals for social media)
• Quick learner, resourceful, and driven.
• Self-starter with a passion for creating solutions.
• Great team player.
• Able to work independently and collaborate.
• Effective communicator in English and Chinese, both verbally and written.
• Basic Bahasa Melayu language proficiency will be a strong advantage
• Committed for a minimum 6-month period, with the option to extend (min. 3 days/week)
• Foreign applicants should possess ARC and valid work permits.
