Job Description
Talkdesk is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business development within large enterprise accounts in the Retail industry. The Enterprise Account Executive will foster and expand the company’s relationship with business units, divisions, and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will understand customer business strategy and manage a long-term, sustainable business portfolio.
The role involves:
- Managing the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources.
- Bringing innovative ideas that showcase Talkdesk’s competitive advantage and disruptive mindset
- Meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue/quota through the management and execution of the Talkdesk sales process
- Developing a comprehensive sales strategy and a sales plan.
- Building lasting, meaningful relationships with other members of management, team, and prospect/customer community
Requirements:
- 50%+ Travel required
- Previous experience in selling Enterprise software solutions into retail related accounts
- 8+ years of outside/direct sales experience carrying / exceeding quota, preferably SaaS
- Experience positioning through strategic value based selling
- Experienced in selling SaaS-based solutions, managing complex sales practices and solution-based selling to CXO, senior management and director-level individuals
- Analytical, with strong business acumen.
