Job Description
Talkdesk is seeking a Vice President, GSI to develop and execute the Global Strategic Alliances strategy across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role involves managing the GSI Team globally and cultivating strong executive relationships with strategic partners. The VP of GSI will work to build lasting, meaningful relationships with the Talkdesk partner community, including local, regional, and global SIs.Responsibilities include:
  • Develop the Global Strategic Alliances strategy in each theater.
  • Manage the GSI Team globally.
  • Build executive relationships with strategic partners.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with the Talkdesk partner community.
  • Meet and exceed pipeline quota through partner management.
  • Understand and communicate the Talkdesk vision, solution set, and product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to generate partner pipeline.
  • Provide feedback to the product team.
  • Maintain records and report on Partner activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Recommend partner infrastructure improvements.
Requirements include:
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA is appreciated
  • 10+ years of experience in GSI’s.
  • 5+ years experience working in the SaaS or telecom industry
  • 5+ years experience on leading partner teams
  • Speaking several languages is highly appreciated
  • Creative and passionate about partnering
  • Engaged personality, polished communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • 'Hunter' mindset with the ability to generate partner referral opportunities
  • Highly organized self-starter
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Willingness to travel (30-50%) as needed
