Senior Software Engineer I

Job Description

Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join its AI engineering team. The role involves developing and delivering a cloud-based data foundation system and AI agent platform, leveraging AI/ML models, and conducting data analysis. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment with technical design, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a cloud-based data foundation system and AI agent platform
• Leverage AI/ML models, applying prompt engineering, and conducting data analysis across all data types
• Utilize technologies such as data and pattern mining, business intelligence (BI), and data transformation and processing
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams
• Ensure alignment with the technical design and the overall technology roadmap
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in AI and data engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud service development
• Strong development experience in Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
• Experience in data-intensive service
• Prior experience with data platforms and/or AI services is highly desirable
• Experience in data science is a plus
