Product Manager - Data Platform

Job Description

Talkdesk is seeking a Product Manager to join their Data Platform team. The Product Manager will be the voice of customers and the market, translating vision into product requirements and collaborating with the engineering team. The role involves advancing Talkdesk's data platform and delivering innovative solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Translate stakeholder input, market research, and strategic goals into actionable product requirements.
• Create and maintain product documentation, including Product Design Documents (PDD), GAP analyses, and technical specifications.
• Capture, analyze, and leverage customer insights to drive product decisions.
• Analyze product metrics and propose data-driven product improvements and experiments.
• Monitor post-launch product performance metrics to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead continuous iteration cycles based on performance data and user feedback.
• Prioritize and manage bugs and feature requests effectively.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams.
• Lead the product development lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a product manager, data analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working with data products, analytics, or data-driven decision-making (highly desirable).
• Previous hands-on or project experience in data engineering or AI-powered data interfaces (plus).
• Ability to translate complex data concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Experience defining and tracking product success metrics and implementing data-driven improvements.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to exercise agency, take ownership, and drive results independently.
• Strong consultative skills and ability to build productive relationships.
• Skilled in roadmap creation, requirement documentation, and stakeholder management.
