Job Description
Clear Street is seeking an Associate Director, Client Onboarding to modernise the brokerage ecosystem in their London office. The successful candidate will partner with various teams, including sales, trading, and legal, to manage client onboarding processes across multiple business lines. This role involves owning periodic refreshes and client offboarding, ensuring adherence to the company's risk framework.Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the operations process for Client Onboarding activity for multiply business lines, including, FCM, Equity Finance and the prime brokerage business.
  • Managing the operations processes and timelines in conjunction with accountable internal departments.
  • Operating within risk framework and encourages the identification, escalation and resolution of potential risks.
  • Staying current with the latest developments in the Treasury domain, with a focus on competitor insight for client onboarding.
Requirements:
  • At least three (3) years of experience in similar operations role with knowledge of Equities Prime Brokerage, Synthetic Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing & FXPB.
  • Proficiency in ISDA, GMSLA, CSA and CSD agreements.
  • Experience in dealing with ETD Agreements and the corresponding Give Ups.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for customer onboarding as a Futures Commissions Merchant, Equities Prime Broker and Security-Based Swap Dealer.
  • Proficiency in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory and operational onboarding requirements.
  • Proven track record of building solid relationships with internal partners and clients.
  • Client focused with understanding of how to maintain relationships through market cycles and product innovations.
  • Passionate about tackling issues, articulating the company mission, and building a better client experience.
  • Highly collaborative and confident interacting with various personality types and levels.
