Senior Data Analyst - Capital Markets

Clear Street is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data Analytics team in London. The Data Analytics team at Clear Street is responsible for ensuring all financial and regulatory obligations are met in a timely manner. The team leverages innovative technology to create automated solutions. This role involves automating Finance and Compliance regulatory processes, building solutions to process large amounts of data, and partnering with stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Treasury teams.

The role involves:

• Automating Finance and Compliance regulatory processes.
• Creating solutions that process large amounts of data from our data warehouse.
• Generating clean regulatory reporting, including building reconciliations.
• Partnering with key stakeholders across Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Treasury teams.
• Providing technical guidance, prioritizing work, performing hands-on design and development and code review.
• Evolving technical standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• At least five (5) years of professional experience working with data in capital markets.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, database design, and experience with data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Experience across various areas within capital markets including products like equities, fixed income, derivatives and futures.
• Experience working in the post-trade automation space.
• Experience generating complex financial industry regulatory reports like EMIR, MFID, SFTR, CPR, K Factor etc.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and an eagerness to learn.
• Strong communicator who can interact with non-technical business stakeholders, product managers as well engineers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions.
