Job Description

Clear Street is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Risk Engineering (RENG) team in New York. The candidate will be responsible for implementing real-time P&L, risk, and margin calculations, as well as ensuring timely End-of-Day (EOD) calculations for margin requirements. The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Kafka and streaming real-time data processing.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, MSK).
  • Solid knowledge of data modeling and database systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality code.
