Front-End Software Engineer - Umeå at Clear Street

Clear Street is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to join their Swedish Engineering team in Umeå. The engineer will play a crucial role in building the technological backbone of Clear Street, working closely with business partners to build and design new solutions, and supporting the current business. This role involves building the client-side, ensuring usability and easy navigation, and engineering technology solutions for a varied client base.

The Front-End Software Engineer will work on applications for Clear Street's Execution Management System and Active Trading businesses, and may collaborate with teams supporting Risk and Futures.

Responsibilities:

• Build and design new front-end solutions.
• Ensure usability and easy navigation of applications.
• Implement clean and efficient solutions.
• Maintain high operational standards and SLAs.

Requirements:

• At least four (4) years of professional experience implementing web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Experience with systems that deliver solutions to complex business problems handling large amounts of data.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Readiness to learn Clear Street's technology stack (Java, Go, Python, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Docker).
