Job Description

Nexxen is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join its Applied Data Science group within the Nexxen DSP Software Development team. This individual will collaborate closely with data scientists to develop the next generation of data science infrastructure, focusing on real-time performance optimization and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and experienced in implementing machine learning technologies or data-driven algorithms.

The role involves:

  • Developing high-performance, large-scale services for Nexxen DSP Programmatic integrations and Platform product.
  • Driving innovation and applying AI/ML to enhance real-time ad scoring and ranking for bid optimization.
  • Inventing novel solutions for complex ad challenges.
  • Leading ad algorithm architecture design and iteration.
  • Developing scalable approaches for large-scale data analysis and model development.
  • Building and experimenting with new algorithms and models.
  • Collaborating with data scientists, engineering teams, product managers, and program managers.
  • Troubleshooting production and customer issues.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience at leading technology companies.
  • Strong knowledge of AI/ML technologies, mathematics, and statistics.
  • Expertise in Java, Python, and Scala.
  • In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Aerospike and Cassandra.
  • Experience building applications on ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Expertise working with data processing tech stack (Spark, MapReduce).
  • Expertise in building data-driven services and applications (ETL).
  • Strong communication skills.
